EL VARON Project
El Varon mine is located approximately 2 hours driving from the city of Lima, Peru.
The property is located in the historical Central mining district along the main access road leading to Cerro de Pasco, a world class Gold, Copper, Zinc and Silver deposits and the Doe Run smelter located in the town of La Oroya.
The mine follows the EW Mineralization trend along with two major poly-metallic projects: Morococha (Pan American Silver) and Toromocho (Peru Copper).
Morococha mine has produced more than 2 million ounces of silver, together with significant amounts of zinc, copper and lead. The Pan American project hosts a very prolific network of mineral veins covering 11,620 hectares of historically productive concessions.
Toromocho was bought out for a transaction approaching $1 billion USD. The mine is predominantly focused on copper production and also contains other poly-metallic reserves.
Existing Infrastructure
El Varon already has the necessary infrastructure for mining operations, including electricity, proximity to water and accessible transportation.
Location
El Varon is located 20km West of Toromocho mine with rich mineralization in high grade Gold-Copper-Zinc-Silver veins hosted by limestone. The operation objective is to progressively increase the production up to 6,000 tons per month.
